Haifa University and King Hamad Global Centre sign a MoU

The King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Haifa in Israel. The memorandum was signed by the center’s Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and University of Haifa President Ron Rubin.

Haifa University and King Hamad Global Centre sign a MoUShaikh Khalid noted that the center is keen to portray the Kingdom as one that embraces diversity, intellectual, ethnic, and cultural richness since ancient times. “We believe in the efforts of the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in extending bridges of love with different religions and sects based on a historical legacy and a journey of goodness to humanity,” the chairman said.

The two parties will collaborate to develop aspects of scientific research and postgraduate studies in tolerance and interfaith dialogue, through the university’s students participating in the center’s programs. Taking advantage of the center’s programs, cultural exchanges, and training are facilitated by this partnership.
